Moldova: 40 submissions received for “O Melodie Pentru Europa”

It’s over Eurovision fans! Moldova’s public broadcaster TRM have been open to get applications for their 2017 national selection “O Melodie Pentru Europa”. The channel confirmed that two shows have finally been set – despite being confirmed at first that just one would be possible to be organized due to lack of funds. It is still up to the jury panel if a semifinal show must be held, depending on their criteria when evaluating the entries. Whether this is eventually happening or not, the final show of the national selection will take place on the 25th of February.

Auditions to choose the first 14 semifinalists are scheduled on the 21st of February at Studio 2 of TRM headquarters and will be aired live on TRM 2 and streamed on their official site, TRM.MD. The exact time is still to be announced. Only 8 of them will qualify to the final stage and the winner will be choose by the combination of the votes from the jury and the Moldovan audience on a 50/50 ratio percentage each.
