ESC+Plus has had the chance to have a little talk with Maverick, participant of the Spanish national selection for Eurovision 2016!
The original video interview was made in Spanish, but you can see the translation below:
ESC+Plus: Hello! First of all, thank you so much for your time and congratulations on having been selected to take part in the Spanish national selection for Eurovision 2016!
How do you feel now after the rehearsals and a few hours before the final?
I feel really nervous but looking forward to doing my best at the show.
E+: How are you preparing your performance for the Spanish final?
We are working hard now, we can’t stop for a second, but I am very happy with my rehearsals and staging. I can’t wait you to see my clothes, it’s going to be very special.
E+: How are you working with your choreographer Lola?
She is wonderful and very lovely. She inspires me confidence and always says that everything is going to be great, which is really needed.
E+: Lola is already experienced at Eurovision as she was behind the choreography of Lucía Pérez back in 2011. Has she given you any advises?
She always tells me that I must enjoy the moment and have everything clear. We were rehearsing for two days and we didn’t have any problems, we worked very well and everything was ready very quickly.
E+ You will be the first one taking the stage on Monday. How do you feel?
Well, it is like breaking the ice. The good thing is that I will get rid of it sooner.
E+: Can you send a message for the readers of ESC+Plus?
Hello guys, I am Maverick. Thank you very much for all your love and support. See you on Monday in “Objetivo Eurovisión”.
