Listen to the Spanish entry “Amanecer” by Edurne!

The most important day the for the Spanish fans have finally come!

After a long waiting and many spoilers, the Spanish entry has just been released. Listen to “Amanecer” (Break of Day) by the beautiful Edurne below:

 

Edurne was internally selected by RTVE to represent Spain at the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. The track “Amanecer” (Break of Day) is written by Tony Sánchez-Olhsson, Thomas G:sson and Peter Boström ; Tony Sánchez-Olhsson and Thomas G:sson have already composed other Eurovision entries like “Quédate Conmigo” (2012) performed by Pastora Soler in Baku, “I Love you my Vida” (2007) (D’Nash) and the last year’s runner-up “Más” (Run). On the other hand, Thomas G:sson and Peter Boström were the composers of the Eurovision 2012 winning entry “Euphoria” by Loreen.

Edurne finished recording her song last month with the participation of the RTVE’s Orchestra and Choir which gave the string touches. This orchestra, the most important in Spain, will also record a symphonic version of “Amanecer” to celebrate the 50th anniversary since its foundation.

Tomorrow, in the early hours, “Amanecer” will be available to be purchased worldwide on iTunes and other digital platforms, such as Spotify and Amazon. The track was already released for pre-order a week ago reaching the top 2 on iTunes Spain!

This week is coming full of events related to the Spanish entry: Edurne will make some appearances on TV and the official videoclip, which was shot a few days ago, will be premiered on March 9. Moreover, RTVE has prepared some special events to celebrate the song release including a video which will show fans reactions after listening to the song, this will happen under the hashtag #MiPrimerAmanecer on Twitter.
