Festivali i Këngës 55 has just come to an end revealing us the winner and Albanian representative for Eurovision 2017 Lindita Halimi. Lindita has competed at the Albanian music festival with the song “Botë”, which, as previous Albanian entries, will be probably revamped and translated to English for the international contest.

A total of 28 acts have competed in the live shows of the 55th edition of Festivali i Këngës with only 14 of them performing at today’s final::

- Flaka Krelani – Osiris

- Genc Salihu – Këtu

- LYNX – Sot
- Orges Toçe – Shi diamantësh
- Rezarta Smaja – Pse prite gjatë
- Xhesika Polo – Eva jam unë
- XUXI – Metropol
- Yll Limani – Shiu

As in previous editions, 7 candidates from each semi-final went through to the Grand Final of the 55 Festivali i Këngës. This year, however, the decision was made by a mix of professional jury panel and public on-line vote. The overall winner was also decided by the same mix ending with the only-jury rule that had selected previous Albanian winners.
