Junior Eurovision: Irish broadcaster TG4 reveals details about national selection show

TG4 has revealed details about this year’s national selection for Junior Eurovision which will start to be aired on October 9.

The Irish speaker broadcaster will be using the same selection procedure than last year, made up of 5 shows aired pre-recorded, which will begin its broadcast on October 9. A total of 32 candidates selected after extensive auditions nationwide will compete to represent Ireland in Valletta.

Once again, an expert panel will be responsible for selecting the best voice and song for the international competition. This year, however, the jury panel will be little bit different as the resident judges, Fiachna Ó Braonáin and Pauline Avalon, will be joined each week by a guest judge from Ireland’s Eurovision past, including Linda Martin, Niamh Kavanagh, Jedward, Sandie Jones and Dustin.

Are you excited to find out who will represent Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2016? Stay tuned!
