A day later, May 22, the 8 finalists took part in the final audition which will be available to watch on-line on Friday, May 27. From the 8 chosen finalists, a professional jury will selected the members of the pop-band that will represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2016. However, we don’t know if the band members will be revealed on Friday or at a later date as AVRO hasn’t given so much information about this year’s selection procedure. Once chosen, the band members will spend the whole summer working on their song, staging and other preparations for the international contest.

After some unsuccessful years, the Dutch broadcaster has opted for a format change based on the on-line interaction, on YouTube, and social media. This means the end of the Junior Songfestival televised shows which had been being aired every year since 2003.

Who are your favourite singers? Who would you choose to be part of the Dutch band for Junior Eurovision 2016?
