Belgium: Blanche releases official video for “City Lights”

Belgian broadcaster RTBF have just released the official preview video for “City Lights”, the song that Blanche will perform at this year’s Eurovision. The young singer was internally selected to represent Belgium after having taken part at The Voice Belgique. The song has been written by Pierre Demoulin along with Blanche herself, who helped as lyricist.

It is usual to see RTBF select internally when they are in charge of organising the country’s participation at Eurovision. They share the organisation on a “year on year off” basis with fellow broadcaster, VRT, which last year chose Laura Tesoro for Stockholm. The last time that RTBF was the participating broadcaster, they sent Loïc Nottet, runner-up of The Voice Belgique.

What do you think about the preview video? Do you like the Belgian entry for this year’s Eurovision? Let us know in comments!
